This style is Looks like A Portal , with a Left Menu that can replace easy with your ad . Also with clean CSS horizontal menu contains tabs with text that shift downwards slightly when the mouse rolls over it ,the simple interface also contain a very light orange look . enjoy it

I am new to phpBB and I was wondering if you could let me know how I edit all of the "link" links on the left side of the page. There are several and I want to delete some and I want to change the name from "link" to "home" and so forth. Could you give me a tip on how to do this?

open template/sidbar.html ,at the end of the file you can find this part

Code: Select all

<ul>
<li><a href="{U_SEARCH}">{L_SEARCH}</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.phpbbegypt.com">phpBBegypt</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><a href="">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="/">LINK</a></li>
<li><a href="">LINK</a></li>
</ul>
change it to your need

Thanks for the reply.

I have another quick question. I have now setup my forums and I have assigned the appropriate permissions so any registered users can post a topic or reply to a topic as they wish. The problem is, there is not a button that says "post new topic" or "post reply"

You can go to my forums website if you wish, it is liquidationtalk.com/forums As you can see when you click on a forum such as "General Discussion", there is no buttons to post a new topic or reply.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong. I have previewed it under the preinstalled subsilver and prosilver templates and the buttons are showing up fine but for some reason, in lightportal, they are not.

Thanks,

Sean

I figured it out. If you want this set to "English" You must first go into your file manager and go to Sytles>lightportal>imageset>
and change the file en to en_us

It takes care of the problem right away.

Thanks!
